George is an active Notary Public with over 40 years of legal experience in a broad range of areas and is a registered member of the New Zealand Society of Notaries.

George is originally from Johannesburg, South Africa where he practiced law after graduating at the University of the Witwatersrand. He came to Auckland 20 years ago and set up a law practice, George Deeb Associates, as a Barrister, Solicitor and Notary Public. After amalgamating his practice with Davenports Harbor Lawyers on Auckland North Shore, he has stayed on in a consultancy role.

      Thank you for your message.
       
      During level 3-4 lockdown, I am not able to meet with you in person to notarised the documents. However, I could notarised the documents by videoconferencing on WhatsApp or zoom. To do this I would require the following: –
       
      1. you will need to email me the documents together with two forms of photo ID and proof of address in the form of a bank statement or official letter;
      2. We will need to arrange a Video conference and for you to exhibit the original photo ID/letter with address and sign the document in my presence;
      3. once you have signed the documents they are to be sent to me by email and I will then prepare a notarial certificate and attach the copy of the document you have sent me and set out the procedure that has been adopted.
       
      The original certificate with the document may be uplifted from my postbox at unit i 270 Sunset RoadWindsor Park Auckland or if you wish I can post it to you.
       
      My fee for the service will be $200 inclusive of GST which may be paid to my bank account which is as follows: –

      This procedure has been recommended by the New Zealand Notaries Association and should be acceptable to the overseas authority although you will need to check that this is the case.
